One part of a multi-part video piece dealing with endurance. The video was exhibited at the SVA Gallery in SoHo, New York, in the spring of 1998. In the installation, a TV-monitor was placed on a pedestal facing the gallery entrance with a one inch wide white strip of paper leading from the front door, along the floor and up the pedestal till the monitor. This was my first time lapse attempt. [9 Sep 2003] I'm a scientist, right? So let's experiment! I took pictures with my Sony VX2000 miniDV camera while tethered to a VAIO. It created proprietary DVF images which I converted with JVC JLIP tool to JPG. Then I used mencoder to create a 6-frames/sec Motion-JPEG AVI. 'This or That!', America's Favorite Burlesque Game Show, is a live stage production that is also shot as a television show. All contestants are chosen from the theater audience. This clip is from a show produced at the Zipper theater in NYC on April 15, 2005.
